🏛 SGPD 2025 – SVVN Debaters Leave a Mark in Online Asian Parliamentary Debate

In the SGPD 2025 Online Asian Parliamentary Debate, our two teams from Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Niketana, Neraluru – Youth in Parliament (Class IX) and Impact Igniters (Class X) – proved exactly that.

• Debaters: Vinay R Tallur, Amitosh Mishra, H R Sai Anwita

• Consistent averages of 72+, with Amitosh Mishra standing out for sharp whip speeches.

• Known for composure and clear structure in arguments.

🔥 Impact Igniters (Class X)

• Debaters: Pratyush Kumar Kar, Avani K M, Meghana A R

• Steady averages around 71, with Avani K M shining in frontbench roles.

• Meghana A R nailed whip speeches with precision, scoring 35–36/50 consistently.

⚖️ The Knockout Story

In the fourth round, the two SVVN teams had to face each other — a battle of equals, where passion met passion.

• Impact Igniters  advanced further.   

• Youth in Parliament  bowed out, but not without leaving behind strong impressions on judges and peers alike.

Though we didn’t win the overall championship, our school stood out by:

• Fielding multiple competitive teams.

• Showcasing discipline and debating culture that impressed the panel.

• Setting an example of sportsmanship, cheering for each other even in elimination.
